Call of Duty: Warzone fans might have a new way to enjoy their favorite battle royale in the near future. Call of Duty's latest blog hinted that the mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone is nearing its release date.

Warzone Mobile was first announced almost two years ago. After being in development for some time, a release date was eventually confirmed for November 2023, but this launch was delayed due to the game apparently needing more polish. Following the delay's announcement, Call of Duty confirmed that Warzone Mobile would be released in spring 2024. Although the game is still without an exact release date, there are multiple signs that Call of Duty is gearing up to release Warzone Mobile sooner rather than later.

The franchise's newest blog that covers the recently revealed Call of Duty Season 2 roadmap has a section in it titled "Warzone Mobile is coming" and explains that the game will feature cross-progression with regular Warzone and Modern Warfare 3, allowing users to level up their weapons and battle pass across the three titles.

The blog also states that Warzone Mobile will feature Verdansk and Rebirth Island, although these are not new reveals. Additionally, the homepage of Call of Duty's website has re-introduced a Warzone Mobile box that can be clicked on to pre-register for the game. These signs seem to indicate that Warzone Mobile might release within the next couple of months. However, this is still speculation at this point.

How To Pre-Register for Warzone Mobile

  • Go to the Call of Duty website and click on the Warzone Mobile box, then scan the QR code
  • Search "Warzone Mobile" in the App Store or Google Play store and tap "Get" or "Pre-register"

Warzone fans can pre-register for Warzone Mobile by navigating to the previously mentioned Warzone Mobile section on the home page of Call of Duty's website and scanning the QR code, or by searching "Warzone Mobile" in the App Store or Google Play store and tapping "Get" or "Pre-register." Impressively, the Call of Duty website claims that over 45 million users have already pre-registered for the highly anticipated game. After pre-registering, fans will earn exclusive Call of Duty rewards like the Ghost Condemned skin and multiple weapon blueprints.

Call of Duty previously revealed the system requirements for Warzone Mobile. Once it's released, iPhone users will need at least an iPhone 8 Plus to run the game. Android users will need at least 6 GB of RAM, an Adreno 618 GPU, and 4 GB of storage. Most flagship Android devices released in 2020 or later should meet these requirements. However, it's important to note that these are only the minimum requirements, so fans wanting a smoother experience should probably use a more powerful mobile device.
