"Breaking News: 'The Valley' Spinoff Officially Confirmed with Vanderpump Rules Stars Jax Taylor and Kristen Doute!"

Bravo is continuing to expand its Vanderpump Rules universe following the long-running show hitting series-high ratings last year amid the Scandoval controversy.

The Valley is officially a go at Bravo, with the unscripted Vanderpump Rules spinoff set to debut this spring on a yet-to-be-announced premiere date. Vanderpump Rules alums Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright and Kristen Doute are among the familiar faces who are set to star in the project that The Hollywood Reporter reported in June was in the works.

This new series focuses on a friend group of five couples who have left behind their previous hedonistic lifestyles — including bottle service in West Hollywood — and are now concentrating on routines involving baby bottles in Los Angeles’ less-glamorous San Fernando Valley. Bravo debuted The Valley’s promo Wednesday at a premiere event for the forthcoming 11th season of Vanderpump Rules.

Taylor was an original castmember on Vanderpump Rules, which premiered in 2013 to follow the employees of Lisa Vanderpump‘s restaurant SUR and was itself a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Taylor appeared on the series for eight seasons before announcing his exit in December 2020, with wife Cartwright, who had been a main castmember since season six, departing as well.

The couple — who tied the knot in 2019 and share son Cruz — starred on their own Bravo spinoff, Vanderpump Rules: Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky, which launched in 2017 and lasted one season.

Doute, who went public with boyfriend Broderick in December 2022, was an original Vanderpump Rules castmember who also appeared on it for eight seasons. It was announced in June 2020 that she and co-star Stassi Schroeder were fired from the show after calling the police on former castmate Faith Stowers in 2018 to implicate her in a crime she did not commit.

After last year’s controversy surrounding the news that Vanderpump Rules mainstay Tom Sandoval had cheated on longtime partner Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss, Taylor and Cartwright returned to the Bravo-verse to discuss the drama for Peacock’s Watch With program. Doute, who dated Sandoval for years, appeared on Vanderpump Rules’ 10th season as part of the Scandoval fallout.

Danny Booko is friends with Taylor and shares three young children with wife Nia, who previously held the title of Miss USA 2014. Janet Caperna is close with Taylor, Cartwright and Doute from her time spent in West Hollywood, and she and husband Jason recently became first-time parents.

Jesse Lally is friends with Taylor from their time living together as models in New York City. Lally and wife Michelle are luxury real estate brokers in L.A. and have a 3-year-old daughter.

Also part of the show are two friends of the cast. Jasmine Goode is a former NFL cheerleader and contestant on The Bachelor who previously worked at SUR, and Zack Wickham is Cartwright’s college best friend who loves partying and is the only single castmember.

The Valley hails from 32 Flavors Entertainment, Haymaker East and Evolution Media, an Amazon MGM Studios company. Serving as executive producers are 32 Flavors Entertainment’s Alex Baskin and Jeff Festa; Haymaker East’s Aaron Rothman, Josh Halpert and Jessica Chesler; and Evolution Media’s Barry Poznick and Lucilla D’Agostino. Also executive producing are Vanderpump, Chaz Morgan, Anne Swan and Ryan Revel.

Vanderpump Rules, which earned its first-ever Emmy nominations last year, returns for season 11 on Jan. 30.
